Configuration for Online Service Providers
Steps to configure Your SPA-2000 with Dialpad
1. If you haven't already done so, sign up for an account at www.dialpad.com. Lets assume that your given phone number is "XXXXX" and your password is "YYYYY"
2. Open a session to the SPA by typing: http://<spa ip address>"
3. Click "Admin Login" in the upper right hand corner
4. The browser will show a tabbed user interface. Select the Line 1 tab to configure a service for line 1
If you are using NAT do this:
Click "Advanced" at the bottom of the page.
Click "Line 1" tab, and enter the following in the available fields:
Set User ID to your Dialpad's Account ID
Set Display Name to an identifier to be displayed on callee's CallerID.
Set Password to your account's password (e.q. YYYYY)
Set Proxy to: 66.35.222.58
Set Outbound Proxy to: 66.35.222.58
Set "Use Outbound Proxy" to: yes
Set "Use ObProxy in Dialog" to: yes
Click "Provisioning" tab, set Provisioning Enable: yes, Profile Rule: 66.35.222.26/spa2.cfg
Press the Submit All Changes at the bottom of the web page
If you are directly connected to the Internet, do this:
Set User ID to your Dialpad's Account ID
Set Display Name to an identifier to be displayed on callee's CallerID.
Set Password to your account's password (e.q. YYYYY)
Set Proxy to: 66.35.222.58
Click "Provisioning" tab, set Provisioning Enable: no
Press the Submit All Changes at the bottom of the web page
5. The Registration State in the Info tab should now display "Registered"
